Hi! My name is Valerie Dietsche. I am a wife of ten years and a homeschooling mom of three beautiful children. After a couple of stints overseas, we've now been settled for several years in our little fixer-upper in small-town America. Photography has been an interest of mine for a while, but just recently have I begun pursuing it as more than just a hobby. I love nature and being outdoors, as you can probably tell by many of my photos. I am now branching out into photographing people, as well. Other interests of mine include reading, (both personally and with my kids), good music, good coffee, and good company! You'll learn a lot more about me as you follow along with my random assortment of blog posts, and hopefully you'll also enjoy the photos along the way.

as i was looking through the photos i had taken at the park the other day, i realized that i had captured the unique way in which each of our three children approach the sandbox… actually, this is a pretty good representation of how each of them approaches life in general!
